Black-grey 70s 2-piece Marimekko wool suit, 44/L-XL

A slightly different Marimekko ! A black-gray, checkered, two-piece wool fabric suit from the late 70s. There is no information about the designer.

Size: the size marking  is 44,  the skirt is about L from the waist (waist 82cm) and about XL from the hips, the jacket is about XL due to its box-like design
Material: black-based wool or wool blend checked with gray stripes. The jacket is unlined, the skirt has a brown lining fabric (added later).
Jacket measurements: chest circumference approx. 124cm, waist circumference 124cm, bottom edge circumference 124cm, front length from shoulder to hem 68cm, shoulder width 48cm, sleeve length 55cm, upper arm circumference 46cm, cuff circumference 25cm
Skirt measurements: waist circumference 82cm, hip circumference 120cm, length 70cm + approximately 4cm turn, waistband height 3cm (not included in the length of the skirt)
