Lovely pale pink American nightgown by Katz from the late 1950s or early 1960s. This sleeveless, knee-length nightgown features a wide, round neckline finished with binding and trimmed with lace. The armholes are also bound. Both front and back have yokes, and the front yoke is decorated with a white lace ribbon embroidered with pink flowers. The same floral lace trim adorns the pocket on the right hip. The front and back are gathered to the yoke, and the hem flares beautifully.
